Clean Battery Terminals

To keep your golf cart performing at its best, be sure to regularly inspect and clean your model’s battery terminals every 3 months or so. This can be easily done with a slurry of water and baking soda applied directly to the terminals, and a clean towel to remove the residue afterward. 

Inspect Brakes

Your golf cart’s brakes are one of its most important safety features, and it’s important you inspect them regularly to ensure they’re functioning properly. Every 6 months or so, take a moment to remove your golf cart’s tires and quickly examine your model’s brake pads and drums to see if any of the components need to be replaced or adjusted. 

Lubricate Moving Parts

To avoid a serious repair in the near future, make sure to stay on top of your golf cart’s lubrication schedule. Your model’s suspension system—including both the steering wheel rack and pinion—will need to be lubricated every 3 to 6 months or so. However, you’ll want to check your owner’s manual to discover the exact time frame you’ll need to service your model.
